Whitby Chiropractor | Second Visit

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

The Report of Findings

After we study your health history and correlate your examination findings, we will make recommendations designed to help you achieve your health goals and maintain wellness. The Report of Findings is a 2-step process.

The Initial Step

The initial step is an informative group session intended to provide you with an explanation of how the body heals, the current status of the healthcare system and how modern Chiropractic can aid you on your journey of health and wellness. We have discovered that those practice members who attend these sessions make more informed decisions about their healthcare and tend to reach their health goals sooner.

The Second Step

In the second step Dr. Duivesteyn will report on the findings of your examination and diagnostic images then discuss all pertinent health concerns.  Provided your case is accepted with your understanding and consent, we will make our care recommendations, which are tailored to your unique situation, be it relief, corrective or wellness care.  We will proceed accordingly with appropriate care to commence health restoration.

We will outline and present an affordable Health Investment Plan (HIP), intended as our solution towards optimal health improvement, relying on your own built-in natural healing abilities.

It is highly recommended that a spouse, relative or close friend accompany you at these visits so they may better support and understand the extent of your problem, the benefits of your program of care and to ask any questions they may have.

Your Regular visits will not be as long as your first or second visits to Durham Chiropractic Centre.

Dr. Anthony Asks some important questions of interest to Whitby residents - Chiropractor Whitby Dr. Anthony Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
